Breaking The Sabbath Commandment*

So the Republican Presidential candidates had a debate this morning. What they said really isn't all that important - at least to me, since I don't care what they say they believe. Nothing could convince me to vote for a Republican next year.

Anyway, the reason I feel compelled to remark upon this debate is that it was held in Iowa on Sunday morning. They held a campaign debate in America's Heartland, the Buckle of the Bible Belt, on a Sunday Morning.

Why weren't they in church? Isn't there even one of these elderly, white male Christians that considers worshipping in the house of God on the Lord's Day a trifle more important than engaging in politics?

*Not really. Saturday is the Sabbath.
